Answers to Our Most Frequently Asked Questions on Treatment
At Icarus Behavioral Health Idaho, we provide evidence-based and efficacious treatment for drug and alcohol addiction, dual diagnosis, and mental health disorders.
We often receive questions about the cost of treatment, how long one should expect to be in treatment, and other topics, like the types of therapy we use.
Here are the answers to our most frequently asked questions about treatment in a clear and concise ‘Alcohol and Drug Rehab FAQs’ format.
What are the Levels of Care at Icarus Behavioral Health Idaho?
We offer sub-acute detox, inpatient treatment, and multiple levels of outpatient care. Levels of care in terms of outpatient programs at Icarus Behavioral Health Idaho include our partial hospitalization program (PHP), intensive outpatient program (IOP), and outpatient services.
Is Icarus Behavioral Health Idaho an Accredited Treatment Center?
Yes. Icarus Behavioral Health Idaho is a Joint Commission-accredited addiction treatment provider. Not all drug and alcohol abuse treatment centers are accredited, but it is important to look for accreditation when searching for care. Our facilities across the United States meet quality and care standards in addiction treatment practices.
What is Sub-Acute Detox?
Sub-acute detox programs provide withdrawal management services for people who have less severe (non-life-threatening) drug and alcohol withdrawal symptoms.
If you face the risk of severe withdrawal symptoms, Icarus Behavioral Health Idaho can refer you to an accredited partner facility with a medical detox program.
Does Icarus in Idaho Accept Insurance for Treatment?
Yes. Icarus Behavioral Health Idaho accepts a wide range of health insurance plans. Using your health insurance coverage for rehab can reduce or even eliminate treatment costs, depending on your exact health insurance plan.
Call Icarus Behavioral Health Idaho’s admission line to verify your health insurance coverage or learn about additional payment options. The insurance verification process for treatment at our center in Boise should take a few minutes or less.
We can contact your health insurance company if you encounter any issues, such as a denied rehab claim.
How Does the Admissions Process Work?
The admissions process at our Idaho drug and alcohol rehab center consists of several steps. Most notably, these include:
- An insurance verification check or discussion regarding how you will pay for rehab. Although our treatment centers accept most forms of health insurance, some clients choose to use self-payment.
- Your initial intake assessment. The goal of an intake assessment is to get to know you and help you decide on a starting level of care if you have not already.
During your intake assessment, we may ask questions such as “How long have you been using substances?” and “What is your current drug and alcohol use like?” Or, if you are a mental health or dual diagnosis client, “What are your current mental health symptoms like?”
